Election day in the U.S. is a day to speak your mind and stand up for your beliefs. On November 2nd, 2004, Ms. Led was heard loud and clear with the release of These Things We Say.

A collection of anthemic power-pop songs with punk rock guts, produced by Martin Feveyear (Mudhoney, Queens of the Stone Age), the Seattle band's 4th album is a political record for a political time. These Things We Say was voted one of the Top Overall Albums of 2004 by KEXP listeners (charting higher than Le Tigre, Camera Obscura, and Beastie Boys), reached #8 in the Top Northwest Albums of 2004 and their track, "Stigma" was voted one of the Best Local Singles of the Year by Seattle Weekly. The album continues to receive regular airplay nationwide.

Lesli Wood (a/k/a Roxy) produces lyrics that are a fearless examination of social issues, personal vulnerability, and empowerment. Along with bassist, Matt Menovcik (aka Clark), guitarist Peg Wood (aka Violet) and drummer, Steph Hasselman (aka Bootsy), Ms. Led have become recognized not only for their political edge but also for their catchy, at times even danceable, songs and their infectious energy and raw emotion. Often referred to as a "must-see live show", the band has developed a dedicated audience known for joining in and singing along.

The group has supported such acts as 50 Foot Wave, Imperial Teen, The Butchies, Vendetta Red, Visqueen, and The Thermals. Ms. Led has played such prestigious festivals as the Bumbershoot Festival, Ladyfest, and the Capitol Hill Block Party. The band continues to tour the U.S. extensively in support of These Things We Say.

Ms. Led's 2002 album, Afternoon in Central Park, garnered rave reviews nationwide ... hailed as "an addictive listen from start to finish.... (Devil in the Woods) Featuring tracks mixed by Kramer (Urge Overkill, Low, Galaxie 500), the record was voted one of the top albums of 2002 by KEXP listeners and quickly sold out of its first pressing.

Ms. Led is currently working on their 4th album together to be released in Spring, 2007. The album will be recorded at legendary London Bridge Studios in Seattle with Tim Harmon and mixed and mastered by Kramer.
